As a National LTL Sales Representative, you will be part of the Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) division at Intransit,llc and you will be responsible for promoting and selling Intransit’s LTL services .The position includes, cultivating and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers .


Your day-to-day:

  • Responsible for the solicitation of business from new and existing customers
  • Calling customers daily and following up on potential business
  • Quoting customers and securing capacity for each shipment
  • Evaluate customer needs and provide the best solution that fits those needs
  • Coordinating with LTL carriers to secure equipment and space
  • Tracking shipments to prevent and resolve issues
  • Negotiating rates with LTL carriers
  • Participating in the growth of the department and company

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field
  • Existing customer base
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to learn complex tasks quickly
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Competitive nature with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to multi-task in a results-driven environment
  • MS Office skills and related computer knowledge
